Julia Arreaga: Welcome to The Journey Continues. I’m Julia Arreaga, a Christian, mother, missionary, teacher, mentor, storyteller, and lifelong learner. For more than 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving children, youth, families, and communities in Guatemala, and I’ve learned that ministry rarely looks exactly the way we expect it to. Here I share the stories along the way: the people I have the privilege of walking alongside, the work I’m doing, the things I’m learning, the unexpected opportunities God opens, and the joys, questions, and experiences that continue to shape me. You’ll find stories about ministry, family, teaching, leadership, travel, interpreting, and everyday life. Some will be about the people and communities I serve; others will simply be about something God is teaching me or a moment that made me stop and think. More than anything, this is a place to connect. I hope you find something here that encourages you, makes you think, reminds you that you’re not alone, or helps you see your own journey in a new way.
